Bondi Sands 1 Hour Express REVIEW

Image
Hey people! So, Bondi Sands have recently bought out a new tan and it is the 'Self Tanning Foam 1 Hour Express'. I do already own some Bondi Sands tanning products ( Tanning Mist , Tanning Milk   SPF15 ) and I do really like them and tan using them occasionally. Now, with this new 1 hour one, I did have high expectations for this... Shall I talk you through it? Before pictures To prepare, I got in the shower and (because I was tanning my whole body) I shaved, and exfoliated everywhere. I also tried my best to get rid of any tan left over from when I last tanned almost a week ago. After my shower, I dried myself and put a small bit of moisturiser on my knees, elbows and my collar bone (as my skin gets dry there). I then take my tanning mitt and apply a generous amount to it. I then rub it onto my skin, starting with my legs, in a circular motion to avoid any streaks. Once I had done my whole body, I used the left over bit on the mitt and applied it to my hands /

Justice League REVIEW (SPOILERS)

Hey people! You may not know this about me, but, I like superheroes. Sooooo... I went to see Justice League (I have also seen other D.C films e.g. Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises, Wonder Women, Suicide Squad & Batman VS Superman). I didn't write a review on any of the others because I don't feel as if they were hyped up enough, plus I didn't watch some of them as soon as they came out. So for Justice League I have written pros and cons. These are my personal opinions on the film (I did get some help from the boyf when thinking of some of these). Pros: -Interesting story line I like how the whole film was laid out and how they all got involved. I feel like the bad guy was different to the other films I have seen. -Involvement of different tribes (Amazons, Atlantans and man kind) I thought the involvement of the different tribes was such a good input to the film because of how they all had to come together to protect the same thing. -Post

Fake Tan Reviews

Image
I wouldn't call myself a fake tan fanatic, however I do enjoy self tanning every now and then. I do however find it rather difficult to find a tan that suits my skin so here are my opinions on the fake tans I own; Garnier Ambre Solaire   On the bottle, it says that this tan leaves no streaks and that it bronzes the skin. This one that I have is a body mist tan in a median tone. I would definitely rate this tan, however, I'd go for a darker tone. I feel that the medium one is more of a light tone when it has dried on your skin. The good things that I like about this tan is that it dries super quickly, it doesn't leave any streaks and you don't need to rub it in at all. It is priced at £10.99 which I would say is relatively reasonable. Rimmel London Sun Shimmer This tan is a self tanning mouse in a medium matte tone. This is by far the worst tan I have used. It comes out as more of a liquid as apposed to a mouse and it smear across that skin leaving stre

UPDATED Favourite Makeup Products

Image
Hey people! I have always had bad skin (dry / oily / sensitive), but I have found that certain products help, or don't make my skin as oily etc. So, here are a few of my favourite beauty products;  I do struggle to find the right moisturiser for my skin, however, I think I have finally cracked it and found one that actually makes my skin less dry! I have been using the Simple Kind To Skin moisturiser. I use the day cream, but I do believe that you can get a night cream as well. I usually just put a few dabs around all of my face and then gently rub it in, especially on the dryer areas.  Followed by moisturising, I prime my face using the Rimmel London Lasting Finish. Before I found this primer, I was using one from somewhere else (I cannot remember where), so when I ran out of that one, I thought I'd try another brand / type of primer and this one is brilliant. I don't apply too much otherwise my skin appears oily. It really does keep my makeup on all day

Being Happy

“Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking.” Happiness is a very important aspect of life. Being happy makes you feel so much better about yourself, it makes you see things more clearly.  By saying no keeps you in the "comfort zone". People feel that it's the easy way of getting out of things.  By saying yes allows you to open up to more fun & exciting things. You can grow as a person and build your happiness.  Movies and song lyrics has us dreaming about perfection and things that realistically won't happen. Dreaming of that perfect date, a perfect job, a perfect life... People have their expectations set so high they are destined for disappointment.  It is important for people to remember to be themselves. Trying to change yourself for others does not feel good. It makes life feel so limited.  Surround yourself with supportive people, who will push you to chase your (realistic) dreams. You need to

My Fave Beauty Products!!!

Hey people! It's been a while since my last post, and I thought that for this one I would write about my favourite beauty products at the moment!  So firstly I'll start with face products... My favourite two foundations I love right now are the Benefit  hello flawless oxygen wow!  and  Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation ! If I want more of a full face coverage then I will wear the Bourjois one, but if I want something a bit lighter just for a day-to-day look, then I will use the benefit one. I do find that I have to use the Benefit foundation very sparingly... 1) because of how much it costs (£26.50) and 2) it comes out of the pump very quickly and I never really need to use much at all.  Moving onto concealer... My absolute fave is the  Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer ! I first came across this a couple of years ago when I was watching one of Zoella's videos and she said that she loves it and it's something that she always go back to so I thought I'

Bubblegum Lip Scrub REVIEW

Image
Hello everyone! I went into Lush on Wednesday and I saw the lip scrubs sat on the side next to the tills so, as you do, I decided to smell them and I absolutely fell in love with the bubblegum one and I had to buy it! so when I got home, I rubbed some on my lips, but at first I didn't know how to get rid of all the sugary scrub off my lips, so I Googled it and it said to just lick it off... at first I thought that was kind of weird and I was a bit put of the idea so I licked a small bit off and it tasted amazing!!! It leaves your lips feeling so smooth and soft, I now swear by it! I would certainly recommend it :) Thanks for reading, will be posting again soon :-) Emma xox Instagram Twitter Youtube
